Do you test on animals?
We do not test on animals and never promote animal testing, neither on our finished products nor on the ingredients they contain. In fact, the Brand committed to the fight against animal testing very early on. As early as 1989, Yves Rocher made a pioneering decision in the cosmetics industry to stop animal testing for its finished products and replace it with alternative methods.
Why did you choose plastic for your packaging and not glass, for example?
We chose 100% recycled plastic (for the bottles) and recyclable plastic for our products because the carbon footprint is significantly lower compared to glass. Furthermore, for use in the bathroom and shower, plastic is safer.
Can the products in this range be used by pregnant women?
There are no contraindications, but our position on the use of this category of products for pregnant women is as follows: All the ingredients in our formulas have been evaluated. However, our products have not been developed and tested specifically for this population. Our leave-on body products (large surface area of contact and product residue) should be avoided during pregnancy. We recommend using products specifically formulated for pregnant women. However, the oil can be used on hair.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
All products have been dermatologically tested.
What is the difference between shower gels and soaps?
Shower gels are liquid shower gels intended for body hygiene, while soaps are solid and intended for body and hand hygiene.
